MICHAELSON boutique HOTEL – Lithuania's Best Boutique Hotel, Falstaff 2026
In 2026, Lithuanian hotels were included in the Falstaff Hotel Guide Nordics for the first time – a guide covering 1,200 hotels in seven countries. Of the 58 Lithuanian hotels recommended, ten received special awards. MICHAELSON boutique HOTEL in Klaipėda was named Lithuania's Best Boutique Hotel and rated 90 out of 100.
What is Falstaff
Falstaff is a magazine published in Vienna since 1980. It began with wine and today also covers gastronomy and travel. In German-speaking countries its ratings are a recognised mark of quality, and an international English edition has been published since 2021.
How hotels are rated
Hotels are judged on surroundings, room comfort, wellness, service, food and location. Ratings are based on feedback from members of the Falstaff gourmet clubs worldwide, and final scores are set by a panel of Falstaff travel journalists. In Lithuania, 28 hotels scored 90 points or more.
What makes us different
31 unique rooms in restored 18th–19th-century warehouses on the Danė River in Klaipėda Old Town: original pine beams and half-timbering, modern comfort and attention to every guest.
