EDITA SUCHOCKYTĖ
ĮGIMTAS LAISVĖS JAUSMAS
Balansuodama tarp techninės meistrystės ir atsainaus lengvabūdiškumo, menininkė kuria ofortus, monotipijas, tapo, piešia, iliustruoja knygas. Fiksuodama akimirkas, asmenybes, judesius ir simbolius, perteikiančius savitai romantizuotą pasaulio supratimą, ji atskleidžia amžinųjų vertybių prasmę.
Kaip ji pati teigia, kuria intuityviai. „Savotiškas prabangos jausmas nešiotis mintis apie būsimus darbus. Man graži netobulo žmogaus idėja. Klaidos turi labai daug gyvybės. Kaip ir klystantis žmogus. Svarbu suvokti, priimti savo trūkumus. Jie suteikia charakteriui jautrumo.

Tinkamas laikotarpis laukti, kol jis gims.“

„You can get attached to the present through various elements, so we decided to settle in Klaipėda by the Dangė river, in warehouses that remind us of Venice.“ – G. Bertašius, one of the developers and investors of this project, is convinced dedication to heritage is necessary, but when creating a new purpose for historical objects, one should not be afraid of bold ideas and solutions. Michaelsons warehouses, like others from the 7th – 20th centuries, are rare buildings in Klaipėda... Back then, ships could sail down the Dangė river and dock right next to their walls. Back then, the waterways began to shape the architecture of this city, its distinctiveness, identity...
